It was quite the joke for the rest of the semester. I was actually hunched over my desk in physics crying because of this book and my teacher thought it was because I wasn’t understanding the math. I wouldn’t read it if you are unwilling to cry though. Again, I don’t want to give any spoilers for either book, just know that the characters are the same and the plot picks up where “True Believer” left off. This follows that same man as he goes through one of the hardest things I could ever imagine. You would think that this would be a story about two people meeting and falling in love at first sight. “At First Sight” is a very misleading title. I don’t want to go into much detail, but trust me, the details are great. Lexie shows him around and takes him to the graveyard, and they obviously have instant chemistry. While there, he stops in at the local diner, where he meets Lexie who is the town librarian.

His goal is to provide a plausible scientific theory as to why this is occurring. He goes to a very small, rural town to try and discredit this phenomenon that occurs in their graveyard as being paranormal. “True Believer” follows a man as he continues his life after a devastating break up. And the title “At First Sight” is totally not at all what I expected the sequels name to be, but these books seriously changed my perspective on the way I look at the people that I love (which, lets be honest, all Nicholas Sparks books do). A friend of mine told me as I was reading it that there was a second book. Alright, let me just start off by saying that I originally purchased “True Believer” with no idea that there was a sequel.
